據美國CNBC網報導，曾登上《運動畫刊泳裝特輯》（Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue）、美國名模克莉絲汀·泰根（Chrissy Teigen）今在推特發文砲轟，指稱一架從美國洛杉磯（LAX）出發，越洋飛往東京的全日空航空（ANA）客機，竟然在飛行4小時多後，因為發現機上有一名搭錯航班的乘客，竟選擇掉頭返回洛杉磯機場。讓她非常不能認同，直指為何讓少數人和航空公司的錯誤，變成全機其他150多位乘客的「懲罰」？與先生約翰·傳奇（John Legend）同行的克莉絲汀，更質疑航空公司管控不力，為何一名拿著聯合航空（United Airline）機票的乘客，能通過掃描器登上客機。
全日空，成立於1952年，是目前日本最大的航空公司，屬於三大聯盟中的星空聯盟（Star Alliance）成員，擁有世界規模最大波音787機隊。成立之初的業務為直昇機運輸，主要負責東京至大阪的貨運航線，1957年改申請為今日的名稱「全日空航空」。但由於日本政府長時間將國際航線交由日航（Japan Airlines）壟斷經營，讓已稱霸國內航空的全日空遲遲無法擴展至國際。從1986年解禁後全力發展國際航線，並於2004年獲利超越日航，更於2013年被Skytrax評選為五星級航空公司。而旗下香草航空也在同年正式成立，成為全日空獨資的子公司。

They keep saying the person had a United ticket. We are on ANA. So basically the boarding pass scanner is just a beedoop machine that makes beedoop noises that register to nowhere

在耗費近八小時後，該航班已經在當地時間早上11點返回洛杉磯機場，讓這趟11小時的航程又回到原點。此時本應抵達東京的克莉絲汀，在推特上可是氣炸了，「為什麼要折返？為什麼不能降落東京後，再讓搭錯的乘客轉機離開，這難道不是更好的方法嗎？」洛杉磯機場警方也已介入調查，但截至目前為止，全日空航空方面仍未對此事件做出正式說明。
