巴西警方昨日逮捕了奇異公司拉丁美洲執行長史培蘭吉尼，以調查跨國公司在里約熱內盧州醫療體系所涉及的詐騙與貪污案。
史培蘭吉尼（Daurio Speranzini Jr.）曾擔任巴西菲利浦醫療系統公司（Philips Medical Systems）的負責人。除了他以外，還有21人被捕，包括菲利浦現任主管努德森（Frederik Knudsen）。
里約熱內盧州檢察署發表聲明說，警方突檢了44個地點，包括菲利浦以及嬌生集團（Johnson & Johnson）設在巴西的公司總部，但未突檢奇異的辦公室。
代號為「共鳴行動」的這項調查，目標在瓦解一個「供應商聯盟」，這個聯盟被控在1996－2017年間，透過詐欺以取得里約州公共衛生機構的合約。
